LT,

Nicely-equipped bag...makes me want to improve/enhance my gear a bit. Thanks for sharing.

One lovely couple I shot with had two things in their supplies that I thought were very wise:
1) Ziploc baggies for each person which contained washcloths dipped in cold water (maybe they put a couple ice cubes in each. I'm not sure.) The sealed ziplocs were then dropped in the ice chest. When they were done shooting, they could take those out to wipe off and cool down. It was a welcome refreshment after the Texas heat. A drop of peppermint oil in there would be awesome!
2) A large dark colored tarp. They positioned it to the right of the shooting area so that they could easily collect their brass. Smart people!

Inexperienced shooter that I am, I don't have any ideas on the shooting equipment, but these are the doting wife and mother things I make sure to have if we're going to the range:
Closed-toe shoes
Long sleeves
Sunscreen
Hat
Sunglasses
Cold drinks
Snacks that won't melt and won't especially attract bugs (so no fruit, esp banana or juicy fruits)
Hand wipes
Hand sanitizer
Toilet paper
Headache medicine and bandaids
Bug repellent. If chiggers are a potential issue, sulfur powder and a sock, too.
Trash bags for putting shoes or other things inside for the ride home if necessary
Flip flops in case I need to change out of my shoes before getting in the car. (Experience after a rainy, muddy day.)
A towel to put on the seat to keep off the lead and sweat.
Camera with video ability
Cell phone
Camera and phone chargers with car adapters

I can already tell that I'll have to take two bags if I'm shooting, too. I'd like to see the bag you sewed, Yankee Girl!

No kidding! I'm thinking I travel pretty light now!
