No. The Roberti-Roos ban predates this and the oppression of legal citizens began long before that.UncleBob wrote:Far be it for me to give an educated opinion on this or even question the police actions. I've seen the clip several times and wonder if this was one of the reasons California became so "anti-gun" for civilians?

Re: California shootout
In reference to the link I posted http://www.deltaforce.com/catalog/12gaugeammo.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I wonder if that stuff is legal.
Any one know???
I am going to buy a “fold over the top” stock and a long barrel for my 12 Ga. Winchester 3000. Right now it only has an 18” barrel and a pistol grip.
I have had it for about eight years and have never fired it. I keep it clean and oiled but have not really had the urge to fire 3” Mag. 000 Buck with a pistol grip
.
I like the idea of being able to change out the barrel to maybe a 24” in just a few seconds and shoot slugs. Can anyone give me info on rifled slugs through a rifled barrel, smooth barrel etc.? There are still a few barrels around for it but I really haven’t looked into them.
I know I want a Cylinder barrel and of course no choke.

God Bless America, and please hurry.

Re: California shootout
I have seen programs about this shoot-out before. The shows I have seen interview police officers that were there that day. I remember one officer say he fired several 12ga volleys (I don't remember if it was buck shot or slugs) and the bad guys just kept shooting.

Re: California shootout
Kind of redefines "shotgun" but actually grapeshot was in use a long time ago, followed by cannister and case. I wonder what size the individual pellets are.AndyC wrote:Cops just needed a bigger shotgun,is all:
