Mine hasn't done that but it is Chinese. It could happen. It always worked perfectly, it just looks like it was made on a chopping block.

That's a slam fire. It's got to do with the firing pin spring, or lack of one. I have a Chinese SKS that does that sometimes.

You hear some people grumble about Century builds. I had a Yugo UF that I shot around 1-2K rounds and never had a problem with it. I sold it after a couple of yrs bc I could justify 3 Yugo Ufs in my collection. I prefer the UF or SF bc you can put it in a tennis bag and no one would ever know
