Texas no longer has the guts.

Our Governor and state elected officials haven’t even stood up to support Arizona.

Texas should boycott those states that are boycotting Arizona.

:iagree: Amen.

I am looking for a list of companies that I need to boycott for boycotting AZ too. Hit 'em in their pocket book. :totap: To me them boycotting is tantamount to them supporting criminals.

Just heard on the newz today that Austin City Council, has decided to not do any business with AZ.

The reporter then said, Austin currently does not do any business with AZ.

I believe it was CNN

I believe that the city of Austin is actually a colony of the Peoples Republik of Kalifornia. That may explain things.

True, I'm headed to Houston, maybe San Marcos too, in a few weeks, to shop at Austin Kayak (branch stores out in those other cities) because I want none of my sales tax money going to Austin if they boycott AZ, I'll boycott Austin... (Sorry Jeff... Manager of the Austin store)

Anything I can buy online from AZ will be bought there too instead of some other State. I won't mind paying the Texas sales and Use Tax ... I just don't want the city of Austin getting any if they continue on that Anti-American path of boycotting those trying to stop criminals and enforce laws and make the streets safer for those here legally who pay for the service of them attempting to provide better security for us.

I've taken this route too. When buying online, I look for companies in AZ. Not that I'm voting against Texas :txflag: with my dollars, just that AZ needs some love. It's the "helping a brother out" attitude. :patriot:
I heard on a news show last night that 93% of the population agrees with AZ, but that statistic never makes the news. Maybe because it's a difficult statistic to defend. (who was polled, which demographic, etc).

Edited to correct a typo from 63% to 93%. Darn these small keyboards.

Speaking of Polls/Statistics results which get surpressed, you might enjoy this http://action.afa.net/Blogs/BlogPost.aspx?id=2147494420" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Whoops! LA Times own poll: 98% of readers think Arizona boycott a bad idea
(And the city of Austin wants to copy the bad idea? :smilelol5: )

I won’t be going to Austin. When I get the chance, I will send some e-mails to the Austin city government and chamber of commerce to let them know this. :mad5

They want to play those games-let’s play. :patriot: :txflag:

Ah yes, Austin quit trying to be San Francisco. They already made that move and are making themselves look like fools, even in the eyes of many of my liberal friends.

Since we're talking Arizona companies, I can't recommend http://www.jgsales.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; enough for your gun and ammo needs.

SGCUSA.COM ................ Scottsdale Gun Club ..............
I ordered PMC .380 ammo from them a few weeks ago. They delivered
as promised and on time. Price $13.99 per box of 50.
They look to be "out of stock" currently. However, they are in Az and I will
do business with them again in the future.
I'm all for Arizona having the guts to enforce the law, since the Federal agencys
won't. Wish Texas would follow the Az lead.
I'm ashamed of Austin.

I'd much rather Arizona goes after people that employ illegal immigrants. I'd like to see a one million dollar fine for each year an illegal immigrant was working for an employer. If the demand for illegal workers dries up, they'll stop coming.

Not that this is a bad idea either. If the federal government isn't going to do anything, the state has to do something.

Why is it that if i move across town it is called moving and no one cares, but if i move across an imaginary line drawn by politicians it is called immigration and everyone freaks out if i don't fill out some paper work?

Sometimes boundaries/imaginary lines are important if there are differeing rules on the other side, such as at secured areas of airports, boundaries at USACE properties, State lines which prohibit magazines over 10 rounds .... or, filling out paperwork to enjoy more benefits on the other side of the line ....
I don't necessarily agree nor disagree with the right or wrongness of those lines, but even the Indian tribes and animals have had territorial boundaries since creation.... I guess that's just how it is.... May as well abide by the rules, be legal instead of a criminal tresspasser, so the bigger indian tribe/pack of wolves doesn't bite..... I guess that's just how it is....
