Just funnin' on ya
In all honesty I do like a lot of the Harley bikes, they're just a bit pricey for my blood. I also ride with all types, Harleys and metrics, cruisers and sport bikes, doesn't matter to me as long as you're safe and enjoy riding. I grew up on metrics and I guess that's where my comfort zone is.

Honda cruiser rider here. I am also an ATGATT rider. I have considered a shoulder holster for carrying on the bike, but I bought a small magnetic mount tank bag with a GPS pocket/window on it. It also has a carry strap so that when I get off the bike for a bio-stop(thats a good one, never heard it put like that before) or to grab a bite to eat or whatever, I unplug the GPS, snap on the strap and I'm good to go.

About the oil leaks under Harleys, no comment. However I came out to get on my bike one day and saw what looked like a bunch of maggots under it. On closer inspection I discovered that it was grains of rice and that I had a fuel leak. :biggrinjester:

I only pretty much only wear riding pants on longer rides. Very rarely around town. I never carry IWB when wearing riding jacket zipped to riding pants. I'll always carry in the jacket at these times.

I actually gave this considerable thought when considering my primary carry weapon. The PCR in my weapon's name stands for "Police of the Czech Republic". The weapon was originally designed for their national police and one of the specs was that it had to be able to be handled and fired easily with gloved hands. I liked the pistol anyway, but that pretty much nailed it for me.

I've actually shot mine with my gloves on just to make sure I could do it if ever required. I'm no championship level pistol marksman, but I'm confident I could get my point across if, heaven forbid, I ever have to defend myself in a road rage incident where I felt my life was endangered.

My choice is a leather vest with a built-in internal holster. Something like this one:
