Wrong! it is never ok to have the govt issue more rules and regulations. I would rather take it upon myself to learn the banks rules than have the govt step in.
Speedsix you are in timeout for suggesting more govt bureaucracy! I want you to go to the board and write the Constitution 20 times.

I'm not usually one to ask for government regulations....but....
If an ID is state issued, then it should be mandated to be used for ID. My CHL is a state issued ID with my picture and address on it. To get it, I passed an FBI and DPS background check.
To get my DL, I passed a driver's test.
I'd rather have constitutional carry and not worry about it. but.....if I've got a legal valid state issued ID, then it should be mandatory that it carry the same weight as any other form of ID.

The Chase branch has a great guy there that is very pro-gun. I know he has a CHL, and carries an XD-9... Not sure if it's a 3, 4, or 5 inch model, but still, it's a great gun IMO... Not sure if he carries there- out of respect I've never asked him, but I know his manager doesn't like it when me and said employee are discussing guns while other customers are in there...
Funny thing is how I found out he was a gun nut-- I pulled a grand out one day to buy my AR-15, and he asked me "So what kind of toy are you getting? new stereo? Xbox? something like that?"... I couldn't resist, so I just told him what it was for... Only to find him pulling out his phone to show me his new sig 556... Needless to say, I always try to talk to him when I go there-- there's at least one like minded fellow in the saginaw branch!
