On-line, San Antonio Express News carried the exact same pictures. I'm assuming they came with the article.

What I loved was that it wasn't until about two-thirds of the way through that he mentions that it's only CHL holders who can carry on campus. Up until that point you'd think the law would allow every student on campus to stick a pistol in his waist band.

I think the Fox News Channel coverage of this subject was "fair and Balanced" today.

I, too, am concerned that Rice, for example, will be allowed to maintain a no gun zone.

I am concerned that If a College post a 30.06 and denies self-defense. Will the family of the parents sue the University for Multi millions dollars civil suits? I mean you cannot deny someone the self-defense means when said self-defense means is a personal right. In the near future, I am certain such case will come all the way to the Supreme court.

Heartland Patriot :iagree:

I once had a girl friend who could not handle the idea that I would defend her and my family, even to my death, and she could not grasp the idea of taking the gun and defending me. Whoa, I married that young girl. Alas, she is my X-wife. Yes, I was VERY young and foolish. As I look back and ponder my past decisions, I really don't think you can rationally argue with a liberal/pacifist individual. They do not see the world the way it exists, they see it as they would like to experience. They are the same sheople who vote in some individual just because it's politically correct. :headscratch

God Bless Texas. :txflag:

Frankie Shulkin, a first-year law student at the University of Texas, said he doesn't think he'd feel safer if other students in his classes had guns.

"If I was taking an exam and knew the person next to me had one, I don't know how comfortable I would feel," Shulkin said. "I am in favor of guns rights and your typical conservative guy, but the classroom thing bugs me."
The red part says it all.
