I do not think the instructor getting his comeuppance will result in any sort of action against your license. I believe this is covered in the FAQs section on the DPS site.
I just spent 45 minutes listening to Steve from SafeArmsReview talk about the concealed carry class he took. He did a lot of advance calling and questioning. As an ex-military guy and LEO, history of being a range master, arms instructor and all whateverelse, he knew what he wanted. He ended up taking a class that lasted over a three day period, and 32 hours. The range of material covered astounded me, including the opportunity to shoot a wide-range of weapons with ammo supplied. All of that for right around $135. Then you hear stories about jokers like this. That guy is just plain lazy, ego-driven, and an idiot.
BTW, he took his class in Colorado Springs. I believe the name of the place was Paradise Firearms, or something close to that. Was going to look them up on the internet just for fun.
