[quote="9mmfan"] Ultimate, however, would be 92FS. /quote]
Had one and traded it off. Will go down as one of my biggest mistakes.
Price wise I'm wanting to stay around $800.00 max.
Surprised that the STI isn't being shown more love.

+1 Or maybe the M9A1 instead? I also like the 90-two. And these days, they come with 17 round magazines or you can get flush fit 18 round MecGar magazines ;)

Wilson Classic Supergrade in 9mm. You get your choice of colors and finish, and of a stainless, carbon steel, or aluminum frame.
The Classic has adjustable sights, but if you were wanting someting in fixed sights with a carry fit-and-finish, there's the
Wilson Tactical Supergrade.
With the base price starting at about $4,900, how can you go wrong?

Glad I scanned the replies. Top Quality means different things. I think the WC needs a nod here too and you beat me to it.

Have kids in college should have put a price fix on it.
I like Brownings. Have three of them now. Think the BHP will be a nice addition.
Will add a 1911 to the collection one day. Will be a .45acp.

Both can do with some work out of the box, although the typical BHP pull is "mushier" (that's a technical term, btw) than the 1911 as a general rule. The magazine-safety in the BHP is partly inside the trigger itself and does have an influence on the feel of the trigger-pull; it used to be the done thing to remove the mag-safety and throw it away in order to help the feel of the trigger, but in these times it would behoove the owner to be aware of the potential legal pitfalls in deliberately disabling a safety-device.
I agree. I'm only a junior member of the 1911 Club, but I shot my dad's Hi-Power a lot when I was growing up. Personally, I view them like I view Glocks - good, well designed guns, but each has some quirks that I don't like too much on a purely-subjective personal level. For the HP, it's the trigger. You had to just about park a truck on it to get it to shoot. Very heavy, especially for a SAO. I assume that this is because of the magazine disconnect, but I don't think that removing it is wise from a legal perspective, especially if you're going to carry it.
One other thing I didn't see mentioned about the CZ (maybe it's just one of those things that everyone knows and I'm being a moron to point it out) is that despite being a DA/SA, you can carry most models in Condition One like a 1911. The designs are obviously pretty different, but you can run one about like you do a 1911. The grips are a bit bigger than the 1911 or the HP, bit I've never had problems with them, and I have pretty small hands.

The ultimate 9mm is which ever 9mm I happen to be holding at the time.

Many of you may be familiar with Hickok45 and his youtube videos. Here's a short demo on the Hi-Power. Not a review, just plinking.

I voted for the bhp. Out of your options, it was designed around the 9mm cartridge instead of "let's make it work." plus I'm partial because I have one.

I carry a Glock 19. Very pleased with it, and I shoot extremly well with it.
That being said, all the other guns listed are also great guns...just not for me.
The only other 9 that I really want to shoot is the baby desert eagle (jericho I think) I've heard it's a sweet shooting gun.
