They have suddenly found out they don't live in a rainbows butterflies and fluffy bunny world. Evil exists and you can't defeat it by saying pretty please with sugar on top. Really stinks to be them.

Perhaps, the Australian government will be pressured into changing their gun laws in favor of the law abiding.

You guy are looking at this from the wrong angle, had the terrorist been successful then they could scream for guns back, but since big brother saved them, well see how well it worked out no innocents killed from a reckless gunmen trying to shoot alleged terrorists.

After reading this thread, am convinced that we should have a CO2 tax here.........for politicians. I am guessing that your average senator produces about 5x as much CO2 per year as your average semi tractor rig.

This is probably polly-Anna type thinking. Australia like the US was founded by the non conformists of England. We
Both have a history of being the misfits from England. Maybe just maybe that independent streak will rise again in our funny Aussie cousins.

Yep....we were both the rejects. Our ancestors ran away the Aussies ancestor were tossed out. Well see. I keep hoping they'll have some spunk.
