This doesn't make much sense to me. Has anybody else here heard of Beretta's ARX160? It uses STANAG magazines & is chambered for 5.56NATO.

It seems that this legislation would outlaw this relatively new item from Beretta as well?

To be honest - not a Beretta fan so this does not have an impact on my firearm choice, but I refuse to consider them going forward
I'm more than a little annoyed that I bought one.

Anyone visited our forum gun classifieds in the last few days? Lots of Beretta, etc for sale. Coincidence?

Help me understand, please, why the outrage over a foreign country making laws that have no effect on US gun owners? I mean, Italy doesn't have a 2nd amendment to violate, do they? Our Constitution, gun ownership culture may not apply in other countries. What's up?

Because, as I read it, the NRA-equivalent in Italy has asked other countries to stand with them in their fight for gun rights and against those who would sell out their citizens.

Anyone know what "gun rights" Italian citizens have enshrined in their laws?

I have a problem with it because I do not believe the inalienable right to keep and bear arms stops at our borders.

God-given rights do not depend upon a piece of paper, nor do they have political boundaries.

I don’t recall God saying we have the right to guns. But I haven't spoken to him lately, so maybe I missed that pronouncement.
