Snotty staff, and terrible prices to boot...They have a large selection going for them, that's for sure, and. B they do layaway, FFL transfer, ammo, etc.. One stop shop. If all of that is worth attitude and high prices, Then it's your kind of shop, other wise..there are better places to buy.

I cannot find any references to this info, but I was told that the Police stopped him as he was heading out to begin his death spree. He had his bombs and firearms on him and ready to go when they caught him. From what I was told, if they would not have stopped him when they did there would have been a lot of people dead now.

they are easier to find/find out about, until recently

For years I hadn't seen advertisements for many other gun stores in the area/Lampasas Waco/Killeen/Temple etc FFLs out of their houses weren't home ...

I drove up there 2 times; once during ammo shortage; didn't care for prices

I spend a lot of time in the Killeen/Harker Heights area. Reinforces to me that its worth the effort to carry a full sized gun instead of stuffing that 5 shot revolver into my pocket and going on my merry way. I'm sure he wanted to target Fort Hood, but if he had decided to rampage through, say, the Killeen Mall first (which I'm forced to visit rarely) I'd sure be glad for the extra rounds on body.
