I bought a leather cell phone pouch that has a spring steel clip that will fit a 1 1/2" belt at a gun show. I believe it cost me $25.00 and still looks great after a years use. It's much better quality than the vinyl or plastic ones at the chain stores and half what you will pay for a leather one of lesser quality at the cell phone store.

It probably won't work for you if you wear a suit every day, but fits well if you are a Wrangler and boots kind of guy.

Next time you have the opportunity to go to a gun show, look for the leather goods vendors and check one out.

I found this thread about 15 minutes after I ordered my C-TAC holster. Penny was kind enough to cancel that order and set up a second order for an Infidel for my Sig P229 9mm w/rail.

This was after taking 5 minutes or so to talk me through many of their holsters on a previous call earlier that day. Great CS!!

I look forward to seeing how it works for me.

So do they only make 1 size for the 1911 style pistols? I have an Ultra Carry II, why would I get a full size holster for a compact gun?

Last time I talked to them they had Infidel molds for the full size & the 3" gun. That is yours. They may have the molds for all of them by now. Call them & talk. They are really nice folks to deal with.

Will do. Thanks LT! I'm pretty sure that I will eventually get a Tucker Answer but at 12+ weeks lead time I need a temporary in the meantime.

Spoke with Comp-Tac a few minutes ago, they don't have an Infidel model for the Ultra Carry yet. They only have the Shirt Tucker, CTAC, and the Pro Undercover models for the 3" 1911s. Does anybody have any feedback on these models?

Pro undercover was one of their 1st. I had one several yrs ago. It was plenty OK. Not as solid & unmovable as the Gurkha though.

BladeTech offers a holster that look identical to the Infidel and they list it for my exact gun. Does anyone have any experience with them?

I'm all about supporting a Texas company but if they don't have what I want I will go elsewhere.

Thanks again LT!
