i would definitely recommend shooting one before you buy. I'm a pretty decent shot bu I've picked up some guns and couldn't shoot a group with them to save my life. For instance, I have a friend that has a Smith and Wesson 9mm and I think it shoots terrible but he likes it. I would hate to see you buy your first gun and then hate it when you don't shoot it as well as you think you should. Whether you borrow from a friend or rent at a range get some range time with the ones you are considering before you buy.drjoker wrote:If you haven't shot the Ruger yet, then rent one and shoot it.
