I have a confirmation USPS for a receipt of materials, still there is not an acknowledgment W/ dps
9/27/11 : apply on line
10/7/11 : finger prints
10/7/11 : materials mailed
10/10/11: receipt of materials (I.a.w. USPS)
10/16/11: web site indicated waiting for materials

Don't sweat it; I put mine in the mail on the 6th and didn't get an update confirming materials received until yesterday. I wouldn't be shocked if it was updated tomorrow, or Tuesday at the latest.

Standard course of business Scoots. Mine took a full week to update after USPS delivered the application. Don't panic, it will update soon

Here is my current timeline:
October 8, 2011 - Took CHL class.
October 10, 2011 - Applied online, scheduled fingerprinting.
October 17, 2011 - Completed fingerprinting at 10:20 am.
October 17, 2011 - Mailed packet, with Delivery Confirmation, at 12:26 pm.
And the waiting begins...
October 19, 2011 - Packet successfully delivered (Delivery Confirmation via USPS.com)
October 27, 2011 - Application 'Received' by DPS
November 4, 2011 - Background Check Completed
November 4, 2011 - Manufacturing Pending
November 5, 2011 - Manufacturing
November 8, 2011 - Mailed
November 15, 2011 - PLASTIC!

Wife mailed her stuff return receipt and DPs received it October 4, 2011.
She checked yesterday and her CHL status: Mailed

Welcome to the wait Rocstar. It is certainly better to wait impatiently with others in the same boat. It looks like it will be a speedy one for us October apps... nothing could possibly go wrong.

Congrats, guys. My last update after mailing docs was on the 15th as well. Still pending review for me. Sad.
