Don't think you can go wrong with either of those choices. I personally carry either a G23 or G27. I bought the G27 thinking it would conceal better, BUT after the peirce extentions they're pretty much the same in the comp-tac MTAC holster I use at 4:00. So now I just switch them up every now and then. I must admit I do prefer the G23 over the G27 though....just feels better to shoot for me.

It's hard to think of a situation where I can conceal a G27 but not a G23.

Yup I agree. I was hoping that the shorter grip would conceal better for me. When I bend over the grip noticeably pokes through my shirt at 4:00 with the G23. I've tried 3:00 but that just feels like I'm being poked in the side all day (IWB). Maybe it's my build who knows. With the 27 I just couldn't get used to the 2 finger grip so I added the extensions. Now they are pretty much the same.
I think deep down I carry the 27 more because if there were one I'd prefer to get holster wear, banged on chairs/doors/corners, or even possibly stolen out my car while I was at work (yes I have a safe under the seat but you never know) it would be that one. Ones got to be treated better then the other right?
