Why do people think that the UAV usage in the USA will be performed by the military?? Private companies and contractors will be using them along with law enforcement (federal and other). The only reason the military is flying them in the USA is for training, R&D and testing purposes... NOT for spying.If the military personnel see something of interest from a drone, they may apply to a military judge or "military commander” for permission to conduct a physical search of the private property that intrigues them.
That's not to mention that "spying" and surveillance are a TINY part of the overall usage of UAVs. I'm getting tired of saying that
