After you take the MSF class, if you decide that you are interested in an XT, let me know. The XT is a great bike... very tame, reliable, excellent gas mileage (70++) and easy to ride. For a dirt/street bike, the seat height is very manageable. I've had mine up in the mountains in Colorado at 11,000 feet on trails and on paved roads running 70 MPH. Really a versatile bike, but not nearly as exciting as the little Ninja.

I currently ride a 1200cc Sport-Touring bike but I've been looking at the new Triumph Tiger XC, an 800cc Dual Sport... Bikes are all about "purpose and personal preference". I've given up the "going too fast" days of my youth and now prefer a "smell the roses" pace with a more long distance level of comfort. Cramped, bent-over sport bikes are for younger people.

I'm thinking my next bike will probably look something like this...
