Good, I was about to say there's something funny about that thing!Will938 wrote:Eat left handed ejection port!
I'm eyeballing AK's right now...its like, new reflex sight, or a new rifle.
Now, that's a great set-up!! WoW!!Bevotex wrote:My new varmint hunting rig.
I'm actually left eye dominant, right handed so you can imagine how I shoot w/ handguns... Rifles are a different story, I have to use my lazy right eye..hmmmm I have to try a left handed upper???stevie_d_64 wrote:Good, I was about to say there's something funny about that thing!Will938 wrote:Eat left handed ejection port!

Thats one of the weird things about me...I actually shoot better left handed...But I just don't do it when it has to count...My instincts are right handed...
Somebody's just going to say I'm weird to begin with...
Sounds like building one would be a bit further down the line for me.age_ranger wrote:What's the fascination with AR's?
oh no, he di-'int!!!!
I think building one was one of the most satisfying experiences I've had with firearms yet.......it's great fun. It's simple and can be done on a budget. No special tools are required to build the lower receiver and you have several caliber uppers you can choose from. Lets not forget you also have about 20 different lower receviers to choose from. You can start with a stripped lower for about $120ish and then build it from there. It's easiest to build a lower and buy a completed upper. Try it, you'll be hooked!!
That looks a lot like Wilson Combat's setup for their sniper AR model, with a 20" fluted barrel. I've never heard of Dedicated Technology, but my guess is that lil' guy is good to go from 300 yards.Bevotex wrote:My new varmint hunting rig.
Dedicated Technology is a one-man shop in Minnesota. The guy's name is Mike Milli. He has been building AR's for 15 years and really knows his stuff. He is very popular with the coyote hunting crowd. I spoke to him a couple times after placing my order and he really took his time with me and made sure I was getting what I wanted. He actually flutes the barrels himself and squares up the receiver and barrel so that everything mates up perfectly.Skiprr wrote:That looks a lot like Wilson Combat's setup for their sniper AR model, with a 20" fluted barrel. That is an interesting "pistol" grip on your AR...Did that come with it or did you get it aftermarket??? Looks very "conformal", and the "AR gap" between the trigger guard and the grip looks to be gone with just that grip alone...I may be wrong, I just can barely see the transition in that area...Can't tell for sure...p99guy wrote:
