BINGO! The political left is particularly noted for using this as a propaganda tool.

I'm all for "justified killings" to be on the rise here in TEXAS. Eventually, criminals will get the message that we don't mess around here, and will shoot you!

If you don't want to get shot, don't come into my house looking to harm me, my family, or my house. We don't call 911 because we don't have to. You can call it killings, murder, justifiable homicide, or whatever. If you need to put a label on an event where I had to shoot someone because they were going to harm me or my loved ones, go ahead. At least I'm alive and another evil doer (thanks W) isn't.

I don't see the problem with Texas being in the top tier of home defense shootings. Texas is one of the most populous states, and last time I checked it was pretty big and sorta spread out into 2 time zones. The average household income is on the low side as is the average education of the residents. Given all this it's a wonder that not more folks die as a result of their own stupidity. Maybe we need to spend more time at the range to sharpen our aim.....

We have a great system of Justice in TX , The Courts and the Death house at Huntsville or the Armed Citizen who has worked too hard and long for the Scum to barge in and take what We have worked hard for. :txflag:

God Bless TX and God Bless the South.
