More armed and unarmed violence in gun free Chicago

A response from a facebook friend about my comment to another facebook friend who said Texas was a mess because of all the guns.

I pointed out the relative safety of Texas compared to gun free zones like Chicago. Here is what the person wrote:

"I an sick of Chicago's strict gun laws being brought up as how gun control does not work. The problem with guns in Chicago is how cheap and accessible they are to buy as soon as you but the country line. The guns they are pulling off the streets are being purchased legally with no background checks online or without ID in the Chicago Suburbs. I have a good friend who is one of Chicago's Finest. Although she would like to see some guns allowed for self defense she would rather see the flow of legal purchased guns coming into Chicago stopped. The problem isn't in the City-wide gun ban it is with the zero tolerance stance that the NRA has when it comes to background checks and registration. The NRA Agenda and the legislation that it gets passed are killing people in Chicago."

It is legal guns sales and the NRA that are responsible for Chicago's gun violence.

Ok I am cheating here, this is not Chicago, but Joliet, Illinois. I don't know about Joliet gun laws, but when you google Joliet gun laws, you get attorney websites for defending you against gun possession charges, I am assuming the gun laws are similar to Chicago just to the North. Joliet is where there is a big prison. Went there once, probably will never be back.

Don't open this post if you are easily offended.

But if there was a reason not to live in places where you can't have a gun for self protection, this case might be a poster child.

Baby shot three times while in car seat while dad who was shot was changing the babies diaper. Mother was shot when she was pregnant with this baby.

It is truly a shame for those with principals and values to see the carnage that the liberal freaks have wrought on Chicago. I don't know that I could stand seeing the hopelessness of the situation day after day. My prayers go out to the family of the officer.

The Chicago Democratic machine is the most heinous political organization in the US, bar none. It is unfortunate that no one has found a way to make those responsible pay for the anguish that they have caused and the lives that they have ruined with their corrupt government.

3 die 17 wounded while you slept last night, but no guns in Chicago. Must be that bows and arrows used.
