According to my Facebook feed, it seems that anyone who ate at CFA yesterday is a mindless homophobe bigot.

So going by their thinking, I will assume that anyone who supports gay marriage acts exactly like this fella.

I bet he wishes he could have a "do over" for yesterday. This is great news! With his new found "fame," he may find it difficult to get another job. I sure hope so.

Apparently his adjunct professor contract with the University of Arizona expired at the end of the Spring semester and it doesn't look like he'll be teaching there again. http://uanews.org/story/ua-statement-re ... adam-smith" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Don't you just love tragic stories that have happy endings?

Interesting concept.

To be precise, labeling someone a homophobe is what's mindless.... I mean, when you think about it, and foregoing all the details, :thumbs2: we are programed by nature to be attracted to the opposite sex. It's a perfectly natural state of mind (course my wife says there is nothing natural about my mind) ;-) but what does she know, she married me. :coolgleamA:

I was impressed by the Chick Fil A girl's composure. You couldnt have picked a better person to represent the company. She was pleasant, professional, mature.... perfect. In contrast her behavior made the jerk look look even more jerkier. Bet she is a college kid.

I hope she gets recognition within the organization. Hope you guys on facebook start a campaign for her. (Im not a facebooker)

I have read the original statement that first caused this controversy, and nowhere was gay marriage mentioned.

The owner did say that he supported traditional marriage.

If the blowhards on the left thought the lines at the restaurants were long, wait until they see the lines at the polling places in November. Sure hope the voters show the same spirit for the voting booth as the did for the chicken sandwitches.

Ate there three times this week. Been there one time before in my whole life.

Its not so much that I dislike gay marriage, it is that I like freedom of speech.

Seems to me the government should not be in the marrying business. Marrying is a religious ceremony. Government isn't suppose to do that. They should provide partnership licenses to anyone who wants one.

Churches do the marrying.

Church won't marry you, find one that will.

Its that simple.

You have to have a State Govt license and mandated bloodtests.

This is my take on it as well. In fact, don't even call it a license. It should be an after the fact informational filing with the government.

How about keep the gooberment out of it completely? No filing needed or accepted.
