Yeah I should probably do that. All of my conversations have been over the phone. Not sure who you have talked to but nobody in law enforcement has told me that it is legal. Same here. I am enrolled in higher-education and FAQ on TX DPS site says im good-to-go. So I've got a valid license. The statute as it relates to the reciprocity is kind of confusing. Don't know if you can carry concealed or open with either a concealed license or an "open carry" license ( don't know of any state issuing open carry licenses), or you can carry concealed with a concealed license and open with an "open carry license". In page 33 it says:
