Have fun with that....
I placed an order directly with a manufacturer for their lowers on back order. Same price as always, I'll get them before any law goes into effect.

I would be willing to pay a few extra bucks for a Mega 308 MA-TEN lower, but people are asking for $800+ and that is nuts.

Those Black Friday uppers may just be the best investment decision I made this year.
And those PSA stipped lowers for $50.

I need a better safe

Now I'm wondering if Brownells will honor my backorder the BCGs for $119.
And Sportsman's Guide - bought a 10-pk of 30-rnd thermold for $70.
Both are supposed to ship Jan 12. We shall see.

there are still plenty of companies not price gouging folks -- Essential Arms has lowers in stock for 110 and matched lower/upper receivers for 200 (might be out now but still can backorder and they will only be week or two on order) -- aimsurplus has been getting some lowers in stock here and there and prices are still below 100 -- just have to keep checking site often daily -- aeroprecision told me last week they expected to have lowers back in stock starting monday and would be 99 bucks -- so still out there no need to pay crazy prices

I saw a guy pay $899 for 1000 rounds of Tulammo at the Corpus Christi gun show. :headscratch

As Forest said...."Stupid is as Stupid does"

If he had ordered the ammo from Cheaper Than Dirt, he would have paid $1,000.00 for the same 1000 rounds. I will no longer spend another dime at CTD..... :mad5 :mad5

Maybe they have some QA issues batch to batch. I put together a few from late 2008 and fit and finish was fine. All have seen moderate use with no issues in the last 4 years. Mine are all sequential so no surprise that they were all in the same shape.

Was thinking of ordering 4 or 5 more just to sit on the shelf as last resort lowers given current pricing. But if pricing/supply eases in the next few weeks I'll choose one of the better vendors.

aeroprecision is suppose to have some ready for ordering tomorrow (today now) but you know how that goes -- aimsurplus is getting some here and there just have to keep checking their site during the day cause they dont last long

If EA still is taking orders at $110 each, that would be my choice.
I have used several of their lowers, good as any and better than some
