I heard the drone was used to "surveil the property." Never heard the drone saw into the "bunker."

I thought the thing was made of concrete? I didn't think they could "see" through that ... interesting.

I had just assumed they had sent a camera on a wire through the pvc pipe to the edge, but putting it into the hot wheel the boy wanted would be way clever ;-)

That's sounding more likely, I can't find any reference to what I (thought I) heard, so maybe I misunderstood. Or... Maybe...

Perhaps somebody contacted Fox, and convinced them to "rephrase" their newscast. :headscratch
