Here's a few. Search for complete ar-15 lower and work your way through the pages of results to find available ones.

Looks like the AR's are starting to become available again. Bud's has Bushmaster for $1400, Colt for $2500, Doublestar for $1300, M&P for $1300 and Stag for $1350. The prices are all approximate and I have no connection to Bud's.

Ouch! Bud's was selling Doublestar ARs for $659 before Newtown. I know its supply and demand but still. LOL. I was actually thinking of trying one of the Doublestars when I got my tax return but I just can't pay that for one right now. I will wait till the panic dies down some. Now if I didn't already have an AR then I guess that's not too bad of a price in the current market.

Just got my Remington model 788 .243 back from the gunsmith. It had been stored in the garage for about 15 years and had some rust on it. Also the bolt didn't slide freely and I'd misplaced/lost the magazine. While it's not likely I'll ever thin the forrest rats again, I wanted to get this gun fixed. It was the first one I bought back when i was in high school. It's got a K4-f post and cross hair Weaver 4X scope on it. I've brought down a doe right at 100 yards. My dad has brought down deer at more the 200 yards with it.
My thinking is this could be my reach out and touch somebody gun if things ever came to that. I think that rather than get an AR or SKS, I'd like to have a Marlin camp 9 or Ruger PC9. Probably the Ruger because I believe it's rated for +p ammo while the Marlin isn't.
That way, one of my long guns would use the same ammo as one of my pistols.

Bought a Colt LE6920 at WalMart before all of the crazy stuff ($1097.80 plus tax- just after Thanksgiving). Also bought a bunch of Magpul when cheap. Bought 1000 rds when cheap. Wish I had bought more at that time. I love my AR-15. This is the most fun gun I have. My brother got me interested. Poor guy lives in California so you know how limited he is. Wish I had bought years ago. Calling this a high power assault weapon is a joke, but democratic politicians in general must be stupid. Can you hunt with this- no. Not unless you are doing varmint hunting. If I want to hunt will take my 30-30 out. I love every gun that I own but my AR is the number 1 on the list. Maybe it's because the left wants to take it away from me. I do think it would make a great home self defense weapon. 30 reliable rounds is a lot of defense.

I got an ar at a decent price. The accessories, magazines and ammo were more than the rifle. I paid a lot more than I wanted but didn't pay too much.
