Was he flying that thing himself?? That is so cool! The closest I ever got to flying was the time I jumped out the second story window with a sheet. My brother and I were just certain it would act like a parachute.
He is with an instructor but he is doing all of the flying. The earliest you can solo is 14. He turns 14 next month but he only has 22 flights under his belt. I expect he will solo early summer.
WOW! My son was in submarines - but not at age 13.
