Carters country on 59s in Houston has 9mm and .40 shields. Several of eack for 499.

I'll keep an eye out. I'm only there every other week, so if you have time you might try calling them regularly to check, especially if they can tell you what days things tend to arrive. This is twice in four weeks I've seen a 9mm Shield there, and at a good price too ($417). Both times it was on a Wednesday evening and they said they'd arrived that afternoon. Seems like odds are pretty good.

I found one for $450 out the door. I had a few offers for $100-$150 more... I wasn't willing to pay the excess.
