I think Obama is pretty hard left in his rhetoric, but not always in his actions.

I wouldn't call Christie hard left. He is probably pretty conservative for the Northeast if you leave abortion out of the definition. He is just to the left of us down here in Texas.

Personally, I don't think most on this forum are as hard right as some would say. I just think the media and Democrats have moved so far left over the last 50 years that we look hard right by comparrison.

I tend to define things differently from hard left or hard right because the definitions of these stances changes often.

I prefer to consider myself a Jesus loving Christian first, constitution hugging Texan second, American third.

I consider barry and his ilk as socialists bent on destroying America as we know it. Whether that makes him and his kind moderates or left, I don't care.

BTW, I leved in the San Francisco Bay area for 8 1/2 years. I am extremely familiar with the type of politics that exists there and to tell you the truth, Mordor on the Potomac is not too far removed from there right now.

So be it. With Christie, there is no difference. And if you think Obama is petulant, wait until you have to deal with Christie. If he is nominated, I will not vote republican.

Do I think Chris Christy is a leftwinger? No. Would he be as bad as Hillary? No, because he ain't as leftist as she is. But OTOH, he is very, very far from being gun friendly, either.
