Getting the OK was phase 1. You're now in phase 2.sbrawley wrote:it's the first post on the first page. I'm updating the status of new changes as I begin my first build of my first rifle, which originated with my wife saying "OK".
Now you are learning. 1 AR15 = 1 Dresser. My wife and I have the same arrangement except it is 1 gun = 1 Coach Purse.sbrawley wrote:My lower is complete. After watching some YouTube videos, building the lower was a lot easier than I had anticipated. I am concerned, however, about the trigger. It has very minimal travel. Is that normal? (StagArms LPK) If so, I can see why you would want to keep the safety on until you're ready to fire. The slightest pressure on the trigger will cause it to fire. I'm hoping to have my upper assembly this month with my magazine(s) and ammo shortly after.
On a side note, the wife decided to wake me up at 1 PM to go dresser shopping (I work nights) and she decided to prepare my clothes. She went into my closet and grabbed my pants with the holster attached and then a shirt I use to conceal and put them on the bed so I could get ready, without even asking if I was going to carry today. I guess by carrying everyday she now just assumes I'm going to do it.![]()
When we left, we stopped for a bite to eat, and then to Gander Mountain where I picked up 350rd case of Blazer Brass 9mm FMJ that was on sale. Then we went to the furniture store and purchased her dresser and a set of rugs for the living room.
This is off topic, but did you figure out why your are pulling to the right when you shoot?sbrawley wrote:.......... then went to the range and put roughly 170 rounds into paperand found out I'm pulling to the right (need to find out what that means for lefties
