It is an ambitious plan, and it sounds like their desire to own Colt is pretty high on their business plan list. They just might be able to pull it off. I hope they do. BUT, if they do, please, please Mr. Ryce, DO NOT relocate the plant to your headquarters in Palm Springs, CA! If relocation will happen, take a look at Texas. We'd(at least me) would welcome you with open arms. I think the Governor would too!

I'd love to see it in Texas also, but I have no idea if the Morongos have any presence here.

What might be interesting about if Morongos take ownership and move the manufacturing (which I doubt, but) to Indian land, I am wondering if they could tell California and the Feds to go pound sand about any of their laws regulating manufacture? They would have to follow some laws since the guns would be 'exported' off Indian land to the rest of the US, but since they (Indians) can have casinos in states that ban or regulate them, I would think they could build civilian "assault" rifles and hi cap magazines and such, and maybe with manufacturing methods that Cali probably tries to restrict (since they try to restrict everything else to the point of civilizational suicide).

I read that Colt lost bids on military contracts resulting in their being pushed almost into bankruptcy - That being said: Who/What Corporation/mfg. etc was awarded the contracts?
