I ordered a black Alien Gear belt about 2 months ago, and just ordered a second brown belt with the black buckle hardware from them yesterday to coincide with the rest of my wardrobe. I normally wear belts from Old Navy. They are very similar to the Alien Gear gun belts. But I didn't want to get a tacti-cool belt or something that screams "I CARRY A GUN!". That's one end of the spectrum. No velcro, tie-down belt buckles or plastic snap-in clips. The other end were more for the business man dress-up work type. Fancy square belt buckle, ratcheting system, etc. The Alien Gear is somewhere in between. Casual, but will look good with a tucked in polo shirt.

I carry a pretty heavy 4" Springfield XD service pistol that I've been carrying almost daily IWB with a Galco Summer Comfort (temporary holster while my other one comes in), and just got a Safariland 6378 OWB I've been wearing around the house testing it out for the colder winter months.

I had some issues at first with the gun and holster not holding tight to the body with the Galco, but went from hole 3 (comfortable) to hole 4 (pretty tight) and it does a great job of keeping the weapon secure and tight to the body now.

The leather like others have mentioned is thick, but to me looks a little plastic-y. I'm waiting to see if wearing it breaks it in and it looks better with a few wear marks. Right now from the front it looks like a casual belt, but from the back it looks like a casual police belt. Just my opinion. They look exactly like the Beltman Quick Ship belts on their website.

I noticed when using the OWB holster, the paddle belt clip (the one that secures under the bottom of the belt), it has started to scar up the belt a few times from me putting on and removing the holster. Not a big deal. I have a cheapo Old Navy belt that is the same way from me putting in and taking out my knife from my front pocket.

Overall I like the belt. I think they are worth the price. The Beltman belts are more expensive, but for what you get I'm okay with the fit and finish, and they look just okay. I don't think there's a whole lot you can do with a gun belt to still look casual, but hold a firearm.

Has anyone tried one and what are their thoughts. I normally carry a pocket pistol during the weekday, but if I go out in the evenings and on the weekends carry a larger handgun. Right now have a normal leather belt that is needing to be replaced and was thinking about one of these as the replacement. I would be with a PX4-Storm subcompact in a 40. Thanks in advance for any input offered.
I am not trying that but i have one Western Holster for my Glock gun.
vanes 137; You changed the link from the original post; this was never about "cowboy holsters"...are you the one selling them on Amazon.????
hmmm.

I use a kore essential gun belt. It uses a rachet system to lock in place instead of holes in the belt. It works great for my smith and wesson shield. Cost about $60.00

Yes It seems my original post has been edited by another poster, My post was strictly asking. about the Alien Gear which I did purchase and wear every day whether I have a holster attached or not, Seems bad form to quote someone and then add your own words and links like they came from me. No way will I support, buy or read about that product on that principle. :mad5 . Now if you want to send a belt from the (link to Belgian website removed by moderators), I would be happy to review and place my findings here. That being said, I do like my AG belt after wearing everyday for months

I've been wearing my Alien Gear gun belt every day for a couple of months, and it's a great gun belt. I generally don't need the belt with my usual carry option (NeoCarry), but this belt is awesome for IWB carry and is solid as can be.
