Requesting Prayers for a Friend on Life Support

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

Science is amazing but sometimes so illogical... It can do all kinds of weird stuff with genetics and even detect a gravitational wave caused by 2 black holes colliding 1.3B light years away causing a deflection on earth that was much smaller than the diameter of a proton. How about eliminating MRSA? The common cold???

It seems the more I learn the more confused I get... :confused5

Maybe Obama's Cancer Moonshot is the way to do things(?).

It's not for lack of trying. Medical research is, IMHO, fundamentally more difficult than physics research. They have many more ethical concerns to worry about, as well.

Sincerest thanks to all of you for your prayers. It was, however, God's wisdom to call Patrick home in the early hours of this morning. He had been kept sedated and unconscious since March 14, so there was no pain or discomfort to his passing. He is now at peace.

May you, his friends and family, be comforted among the mourners of Zion.
