But here's the really good news. Your board operator (Charles) has taken some very smart steps to help boost performance and resiliency. This should result in overall faster loading on the forum, as well as the ability to weather future storms with less dramatic impact to you, the users. A large forum with a multi-GB database and long history is not a trivial operation. It can be further complicated with that site can be considered a target. And quite frankly, it doesn't take much these days to be labeled a target. With the measures that are being put into place, these factors should be less of an issue.
Chris and his folks did a great job addressing this problem and his customer support is outstanding. I know it was frustrating for the Members and it was for me also, but Chris was on top of it.
