My only argument for the other side is that we expect police officers to go into situations where we would not. As I heard on the radio, If someone invited me to a gun fight, I wouldn't go. Police officers don't have that option. I am willing to give them some leeway or maybe trust because of that.

They found him not guilty, but I think this guy needs to stay out of law enforcement and security. It sounds to me like the people who fudged his training need to go with him.
