Not even hardly. I wrote a piece about the AR-15 a couple of years ago, but still had to go back and look up dates, names, and places. I do remember where my car keys and wallet are, so some neurons still work...
I have the hardest time remembering where my keys and wallet are lol. Been thinking about getting some of these so I can locate them with my phone.

You know where your phone is?

Attached to me always.

Arguing with academia about guns (or most anything really) is like explaining calculus to a 5 year old. They are dug in, partisan, idealogues who cannot be swayed no matter what evidence you present. The students are different. I have successfully swung some left leaning college students more toward the center, but every discussion I have ever had with a leftist teacher has dissolved into them calling me names and becoming ridiculously emotional in very short order. There is nothing like delivering facts in an absolutely calm and respectful manner while a red-faced professor with tears welling up, profanely screams how paranoid and full of hate you are.

:iagree:

I think that they hope we turn into a screaming, gun waving lunatic, when we get into a disagreement, because that's how we have been portrayed. When we show ourselves to be calm, cool, reflective, well spoken, and use actual facts to back up our position, it unnerves them so badly that they turn into the screaming lunatics they want us to be. Once they run out of media induced catch phrases, they have no platform from which to draw, and they will resort to infantile name calling simply because that's all they have left to do.

Great info of knowledge! :hurry:

My dad used to say, "Don't try to argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you every time."

Or a different take: Perhaps they are so afraid of people with guns because they are projecting what they would do in any situation if THEY had guns. They know that they would completely lose control and just start shooting people if they were armed and got into a heated argument, therefore everyone else must be the same way. If I thought every single person around me was a powder keg just waiting to go off if confronted, I very well might be afraid of others being armed as well. :leaving
