Not surprising, those people have a lot of courage when they are attacking innocent people. As soon as someone shows up who isn't going to play that game their attitudes seem to change really fast.Turban cowboy wrote:Just as we were discussing this topic..this guy drives through the riot with his handgun out of the window, and everyone moved. Talk about savage.

At the very least, a crop duster filled with OC would provide more interesting video.nightmare69 wrote:After you get away from the threat, call in a air strike.
"Community organizers" have taken control of the country, leaving common sense in the ashes.RoyGBiv wrote:Hard to believe it's come to this. In America.
Not really, people want someone to blame for their own lack of motivation and failures in life. Much easier to blame someone else than to take personal responsibility and fix the problem.RoyGBiv wrote:Hard to believe it's come to this. In America.
It came to that in America in 1992: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1992_Los_Angeles_riots.RoyGBiv wrote:Hard to believe it's come to this. In America.
Don't forget about this one in 1967. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1967_Detroit_riotThe Annoyed Man wrote:It came to that in America in 1992: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1992_Los_Angeles_riots.RoyGBiv wrote:Hard to believe it's come to this. In America.
I'm telling you guys.....after what I saw there, I determined that some people are just plain savages, and that I will do WHATEVER IT TAKES to not be a victim of their actions. And that's not a racial statement, that's a humanity statement - because I'm sure you could find this kind of behavior almost anywhere, regardless of race or ethnicity. It's just that here, right now, in this country, it happens to be primarily black Americans who are rioting.
Interesting stuff on the Detroit riots. Also interesting that there have been 5 race riots in Detroit dating back to 1863.WildBill wrote:Don't forget about this one in 1967. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1967_Detroit_riotThe Annoyed Man wrote:It came to that in America in 1992: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1992_Los_Angeles_riots.RoyGBiv wrote:Hard to believe it's come to this. I have relatives in Detroit who lived through this riot. I remember talking to my Aunt when this was happening.
I was thinking cluster munitions, but I tend to over do things!KD5NRH wrote:At the very least, a crop duster filled with OC would provide more interesting video.nightmare69 wrote:After you get away from the threat, call in a air strike.
Some Korean business owners had a pretty effective solution during the LA riots. The Annoyed Man wrote:It came to that in America in 1992: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1992_Los_Angeles_riots.RoyGBiv wrote:Hard to believe it's come to this. In America.

They did, and that was certainly their right to do so, but they were foolish and purely lucky. Think about the risks...... they were completely surrounded with no exit strategy — an island in a veritable sea of criminal insanity. If their defenses had crumbled, they were goners. That crowd would have chewed them up and spit them out in seconds flat. I understand the desire to defend what's yours and to drive off the goblins, but unless they had a real castle with a moat and drawbridge, and they did not, they would have been better off to get out of dodge early on. That's what insurance is for.Pawpaw wrote:Some Korean business owners had a pretty effective solution during the LA riots. The Annoyed Man wrote:It came to that in America in 1992: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1992_Los_Angeles_riots.RoyGBiv wrote:Hard to believe it's come to this.
