I've been through some tough times in the Military and been through alot with complications at the birth of my children.......got through it all slowly but surely. Problem is, I don't really feel the loss here. Maybe its because its has been going on so long.....?? For 17yrs now he has disappeared, gone to prison, been hospitalized after having his ankles shattered by drug dealers to make him stay put and make dope. I put this on him and feel sorry for those who interact with him. I might be lacking sincerity here, but I think he's selfish, self centered and unfortunately, I feel he'd be better off in prison (only because I don't want him dead.....after all he is family). It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. It's like a drama being played out, only this time I actually know all the characters.
By the way, his wife is putting together a list of furniture they're needing to get rid of before they foreclose on the houses and take it all. I'll post it up when I get the list and anyone interested can PM me for details. For obvious reasons, I won't post it on here................funny how life can change so fast.............

My grandfather had been mentally ill and an alcoholic for most of his adult life, but he had kept it together until that point. He was committed to a state mental hospital, which was the usual thing at that time (1960).
My parents told me that he had a sickness that made him act that way and he wasn't a bad person. They answered whatever questions I had (I don't remember what they were). I accepted it. It wasn't a major trauma.

I knew my grandmother was in a hospital, I just didn't know what kind. In the 1960's she was put through some treatment that jacked her up pretty bad. So a few decades later she was in her mid 70's working a night job on a bad part of town. A thief tried to stag her purse, she locked arms with him. Then she stabbed him to death with a nail file. A few years later she was watching me while my dad was at work, my grandfather was stuck in a chair pretty much all day with enphezima. While I was in the other room sleeping she murdered my grandfather. I didn't know anything about this until over a decade later. I think I'm glad I didn't know until later.

UPDATE: He was picked up by local lLaw Enforcement. Reason unknown but he's being held at Collin County. We don't know why, who, what, where or how. All we know is that my sister in law called some 800 number and found out that he is in jail. At least he's not a danger to anyone else for now.
well, apparently you can find out who has outstanding warrants AND current inmate information:
