The S&W is perfectly fine for 99.99999% of use. Bottom line, if there is ever anything you don't like about it or don't have enough confidence in it, you can always upgrade it. Even the S&W versions (or any other manufacturers', for that matter) that come without a dust cover or forward assist can be upgraded by simply replacing the upper receiver half - which is a relatively inexpensive upgrade.Smokey613 wrote:I did a lot of research including talking to the guys on our local SO and PD swat teams. I agree we shouldn't fall for the hysteria. Buying a S&W MP15 for $650 or a Magpul 10-pack for $100 is not hysteria. Neither is buying ammunition at prices below the five year average. I am considering either selling the Sport 2 and replacing it with a more Mil-Spec M4; or just buying an additional MSR Mil-Spec M4 rifle.
