I am buying my pistol so I will buy what I want to carry and you likewise. That said and he hype of capacity dallas on my deaf ears. Every gun eventually runs out of ammo. It doesn't matter if it is 7, 17, or 70 rounds it is going to run dry. I carry a 1911 with two extra mags most of the time.
I don't mind listen to people's opinion, but this Nut Job speakers as if he has a lot of experience and science backing him. As Mr. Cotton said, "he is a legend in his own mind."

I read a book many years ago about the Israeli Mossad tracking down and killing all those responsible for the Munich Olympics terror attacks. If I remember correctly they used a .22LR pistol and practiced doing quick double taps to the head of their victims at point black range. Smaller and quieter gun with less risk of collateral damage. I believe those were the deciding factors.
Maybe that's where this guy got the idea that a .45 ACP is the worst possible choice?

I usually carry a G26 because it has the crimson trace laser, when I carry IWB it is usually the G19 or G17. I know the laser will also go on the G27 but I have never changed it. I use to carry the G30 all the time and still sometimes do, when I see it crying from loneliness. As far as more rounds, I figure if I need more than 10 rounds I am probably way over my head. If the situation changes where I feel like I need to carry 20+ extra rounds, then I probably won't leave the compound without bulletproof clothing.

As John from Active Self Protection says: The first person to put shots on target FIRST often wins the gun fight.
More recoil = slower follow-up shots, and you can't miss fast enough to win.
