I never needed a shield 45 but I guess I now do. I placed an order for one. BTW, Academy refused to match online prices.

If your around the Caddo mills area at Ammo Depot is who I use and it's 20$ or at least it was today when I picked up something there. There are two other places B tactical and hunt county guns and ammo and I think B Tac is 25$ and so is the other guy I'm pretty sure

I have caught some nice sales at Grabagun. When the rebate first came out you could get the .45 Shield for about $305.00 and the .9mm Shield for $299.00 (price before the rebate). I noticed yesterday they have raised their prices.

When you order from Palmetto, create an account first with your address info. Towards the end of the order process they will show you a list of FFL dealers they already have info on that is withing XX miles of your zip code. Pick the one you want, and call them.

If the FFL is on the PSA list you don't have to call the FFL. Just order from PSA and when the gun arrives the FFL will call you.

My academy in Arlington told me they would match Grab a Gun.

Ordered mine the evening of 5/2. Came in to my FFL today.

I ordered mine 5/8, so hopefully that means I see it next week.

The 9mm no safety version is now $289 before rebate at PSA.

Just a couple of years ago that gun went for $469.

That's into no brainer territory now.

Those $225 .45 Shields can't possibly be as good as my bought-a-week-before-the-rebate-started $375 .45 Shield , but enjoy them anyway. Great little pistol.
