Run and then tamper with the evidence attempting to remove the GSR and delete the video.
Clearly she demonstrated a clear understanding of her guilt. That and racking a round just before firing it into his head add up to a very long stay in the Texas Prison System.

Also, is there any chance that he will survive that. I know the article says listed in critical condition, but unless the round deflected towards the outside of the skull, I don't see how that is survivable...
What a shame.
You would be surprised how many head shootings people "survive". My aunt is an ER nurse in a big city and has seen people come in with gruesome wounds to the front of their head when they try to commit suicide with a gun. I use the word "survive in quotes because they usually wind up on a ventilator until it is removed.
Life is a precious gift and there is way too much stupid in that car. I wouldn't want to see that.
What's amazing is just how many "gunshot victims" overall survive.
A single round more than four inches away from the centerline of the body is rarely fatal.

Yep! Learned my lesson when I was handed a 12 gauge shotgun. I started to pull the pump back to check and the guy who handed it to me got offended and said "its empty I checked it!" I paused looked and him and finished pulling the pump handle back and what do you know but a 12 gauge slug popped out onto the floor. All I got was an "oopps". Yeah big OOPPS!
My now 17 year old daughter has been going to the range with me since she was 7. Whenever I hand her a gun, I drop the mag (if applicable) and rack it first right in front of her, then tell her it's unloaded. She never fails to immediately point it in the safest possible direction and then check for herself. This is something that I have taught her, and it should be as natural as checking the fuel level in a vehicle before you start to drive. It needs to be an ingrained habit that is done reflexively. Every time. If someone gets offended by me doing this when they have handed me a gun, then they are a moron.
The NRA has three basic safe gun handling rules.
Always keep it pointed in a safe direction.
Always Keep your finger off of the trigger until ready to shoot.
Always keep guns unloaded until ready to use.
Follow any of the three and nothing bad is going to happen. Follow them all and you'll never have a gun related accident at all.
They are all so intuitive it's hard to believe so many people still do stupid things with guns.

Gets 15 years. So Kim did ok. Same as burning a LBGTQ flag, but a lot more than murdering three little kids getting on a school bus.
Note to self: if you are stupid enough to live stream yourself playing with a gun with the magazine removed and saying it’s not loaded, then pointing at your friends face and pulling the trigger, remember that:
Cleaning up the mess all over you is considered tampering with evidence and gets you more time behind bars.

Poorly written article. States "deadly" shooting. The victim survived, !amazing!, and was apparently at the sentencing.
