The funny thing was, the suspension notice I got didn’t take more than about 15 seconds after I posted my response. Obviously, Handler has someone monitoring her account 24/7 and complaining in real time. What a wuss.
I contacted twitter support to protest the decision, and got a message saying that it would take at least 24-48 hours for them to respond. So there’s no effective appeal for my 12 hour timeout.
This is what social media has come to......and so far, my experience had been that Twitter was much less restrictive than Facebook. I guess not.
I’ll wear it as a badge of honor, and put a big red X next to my handle.

I use it to keep up with notifications from local emergency officials (road closures, weather).
