You might not recover from the trama of shooting your wife if you screw up.

If you wife lives, you might not recover the priviledge of living in your own home for some time.

If it all goes right, your wife still may not be quite as understanding about your decision as you might expect.
When you take the time out of your day to beat someone, it has a much longer lasting effect on their demeanor than simply shooting or tazing them.
