Darn, I forgot all about the gun show in Odessa. Was there a good turn out? Out this way you would never think that we would have a background check problem, but today is my 100th day for Presidio County.
We certainly don't have a DPS problem out here, heck we have more LEO's then citizens!

We prefer to call them Semi-Automatic Sport or Black rifles herejdwashburn wrote: a bunch of assault rifles.
Not true, "Assaut Rifle" has been around since around the time Sarah Brady was born, it supposedly was first applied by Hitler to a new gun, the MP44, which he called a Sturmgewehr or "Storm Rifle" and it has been a recognized term, with a specific definition since that time.dicion wrote:We prefer to call them Semi-Automatic Sport or Black rifles herejdwashburn wrote: a bunch of assault rifles.![]()
"Assault Rifle" was a term invented by The Brady bunch & Co to make them seem 'scary' and insinuate that they have no purpose then mass killing of people.
Just FYI
I forgot who it was that said:
"They'll never take away your hunting rifles... they'll call them Sniper Rifles first"

Don't feel bad JB.....I'm on day 117 in Midland County. Last time I checked on the status of my plastic, they said every thing was back....except my county background check. I'm temted to go down to the DPS office out on the loop and see if I can't get these guys in to a higher gear...If you know what I mean.jdwashburn wrote:well i went to the gun show today and pick me up a kel-tec pf-9 9mm today so i am ready for my wally walk, anyways i am day 94 in ector county!!!!!![]()
