The mailman brought me a very long-awaited present today. Plastic is in hand! (Well....not MY hand...its in my girlfriends hand since I'm currently working up here in Maryland/Delaware).

BUT!....She is flying up in 2 weeks and bringing my plastic with her. SO.....looks like my first WallyWalk with my TEXAS CHL will be in Delaware!

Could this be a TxCHLForum "first"???

Test run went great, stopped into Bealls and Hibbett Sports to buy the kiddo some school clothes and then to Wal-Mart, for almost an hour to get some printer paper, cleaning products, cherrio's and a seedless watermelon. After all that into Jack in the Box for some tacos and curly fries. Went great could hardly feel my G23 in my custom holster in my waist band even being 5'11 at 170lbs it was a very comfortable wear. :patriot: :txflag:

I'm the same height, much more "portly." There ain't no way that an ITWB would work for me...in any event I hope to have the Wally Walk done this weekend if the postal guy will just deliver my plastic.

It felt like it took me a while (actually it did, almost 6 weeks AFTER getting status) BUT now it doesn't seem that bad. What's going to seem bad is the 7-10 days until the license shows up :
