Called 4-6 was told it mailed that day
4-13 website updated.

My stuff was verified 1/22 and I received my approval 2 days ago. I didn't do anything else besides wait. It is just a waiting game.

I emailed the governor's office and my state senator yesterday. I got actual (not robo) responses from both including a promise to follow up. That was yesterday afternoon. A DPS supervisor just called to tell me the review was now complete and I will receive the plastic in about a week.

How about that...

Now we get to see if it actually shows up, which I am hopeful that it will.

Did you receive an email saying it was mailed?

I can only imagine how annoying this entire process can be for some of you that have been waiting since Dec/Jan.

Makes it very hard to be patient when you have no clue what is going on with your application.

I appreciate the support of those on the forum that have been through the wait, or are going through the wait. I find it to be a mild annoyance. Its not that big of a deal to wait and i am sympathetic to the folks that are working very hard to process all these apps. I disagree with the few people on here saying "don't contact the RSD, the State Reps, the Governor" as that will slow the process. Those people are in the state government. They represent our interests. they should be contacted (particularly representatives - as they represent you). I see no harm in that.

I also agree with the people that are saying calm down, it will come. this is not that big of an inconvenience. I want a smooth process, but i want there to be a process. I want to ensure that the government has their time and does their job. the people that are getting flaming mad need to really think about why they are so mad. what is the driving motivation. I agree with those saying take this time to think, practice, make life decisions.

I am glad for this forum and for most of those on here. I miss some that have left the waiting room. Sweatmachine I feel like i know you. same with Mavs, and some others.

I've been here since Jan - and i will be here until the Great State of Texas says otherwise.

All items submitted end of January. Finally e mailed state senators office this week. Got a call today from DPS today. Should have license in 7-10 days.

I have been trying to call dps but no luck. Keep on getting a machine that says Due to high call volumes our representatives are not available to assist you. Any suggestions would be helpfull

I called yesterday and was told they haven't even started on February yet

Best advice is to be patient! (I know easier said than done) They have barely made it halfway through January... It generally takes every bit of 12 weeks. My all in date is 1-25, its so close I can taste it!

For some unknown reason a few February apps have been approved but I wouldn't bank on being one of them! Set your countdown clock for 12 weeks sit back and relax...... Good Luck!!!

yes be patient. I was all in 1/22, I finally received my email a few days ago and the website changed yesterday. Today is day 83, my license should be here any day now.
