Well, he is half right. Edison did not invent the light bulb. He invented the first commercially feasible light bulb. Joseph Swan invented the first bulb that would match what we think of as a light bulb. And Humphry Davy was the first to use electricity to light something, but it was a carbon arc lamp, not what we think of as a light bulb.

But none of these people were Black. Swan and Davy were old white Englishmen.
