For a moment I was shocked Holder would allow an investigation into the violations of Mr. Zimmerman's rights under color of law.

.... not solid at this time, no one called to report the alleged assault. No injuries. Few days have elapsed before the arrest. No witnesses was reported in the case. It could be dismissed as fast as the DA sees the case.

No. He supposedly threw a bottle of wine at his girlfriend during an argument 4-5 days earlier. The police were told about it during a traffic stop of his girlfriend. If it had been anyone but Zimmerman the prosecutor might not have pushed the charges.
