I won't be able to join this time. This my daughter's first day of summer vacation, and she gets first dibs on my time. Sorry guys!

Understandable for sure. We had a good turnout in spite of the weather. Hope to see you next time.Vol Texan wrote:I won't be able to join this time. This my daughter's first day of summer vacation, and she gets first dibs on my time. Sorry guys!
I wish I'd seen this post earlier. I would have told you to bring her along. I'm sure she'd love to hear a bunch of old farts telling war stories. Well, a bunch of old farts and two young guys.Vol Texan wrote:I won't be able to join this time. This my daughter's first day of summer vacation, and she gets first dibs on my time. Sorry guys!

We surmised that you wouldn't be flying today because of the weather.FL450 wrote:Sitting in Shreveport or I would have been there for a heaping helping of grits
We generally give some extra time for anyone who arrives a little late. No questions asked! LOL We never got around to discussing the July meet up, so I assume we'll get to it here on the thread.twjones wrote:I was planning on making it. Hope to make it next month.
Was there ever a decision on whether it's sticking to the normal date or pushing it a week due to the 4th weekend?
Careful what you ask for Charles...Charles L. Cotton wrote:I wish I'd seen this post earlier. I would have told you to bring her along. Thanks for the invite again, and for the kind words. Yes, daughters are indeed the best thing since sliced bread and peanut butter. (And TAM, I'm talking about Peter Pan, not Planter's Extra Crunchy). Next month's breakfast is looking open for me, so far. Hope to see all y'all there.LDB415 wrote:It was a great time as usual. Sorry you couldn't make it Chris but you got the best deal of all. Daughters are the best invention in the history of forever.
